Anne C. McShane is an experienced bankruptcy and consumer law attorney and is passionately committed to the rights of consumers.  She is admitted to practice in the Minnesota and Nebraska state courts, and the U.S. Bankruptcy and District Courts for the District of Minnesota. A 2007 graduate of New York University School of Law, she is also a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Ramsey County Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Minnesota Women Lawyers, and an inactive member of the Nebraska State Bar Association.  A former legal aid attorney, she enjoys a diverse clientele. From 2007 to 2012, she worked as a consumer bankruptcy attorney at Legal Aid of Nebraska.  There, she directed the Low Income Tax Clinic, ran a program helping homeless clients, and provided advice to self-represented clients. After moving to Minnesota, she worked at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services in St. Paul. She earned a B.A. from St. John's College, in Annapolis, Maryland, in 2000.
